he was 37, or was it 38? are you saying every heavyweight champion in history was pathetic for retiring the title by that age or earlier? They were entitled to retire in my opinion, all of them. I tihnk you'll find noone disputes them doing it. You dont either.
So why the special case for Lennox - because Lewis easily ripped your man apart without trying?Last edited by DreamFighter; 05-01-2020, 11:57 AM.Comment

Lennox was entitled to retire but I'd have loved rematch. I hate when a fighter gets cut. Outcome of a fight down to having thinner skin or whatever is reason for some getting cut so easy. Don't sit well with me
Id prefer the person taking most punches to be cut if someone has to be.Comment

There's a reason they call him "Shannon the Cannon". As for his lack of endurance, the guy's an asthmatic. It's amazing he was able to get as far as he did.Comment

Agreed, Wlad is the flashy pretty boy. Vitali is the beast who will not go down without a fight. He was begging the ref not to stop the fight on that cut & insisted on a rematch. Lennox knew "Dr. Steel Hammer" was going to take him to hell in a rematch and bowed out of the sport. I don't blame him, when it's time, it's time. But for him to say there was no point in a rematch because he knew he'd win easily is simply not true.Last edited by SUBZER0ED; 05-01-2020, 03:30 PM.Comment
