      I'm not.

      He didn't fight Foreman,

He fought Tyson when he was wayyyy shot.

He thinks McCall & Rahman hit him with "lucky shots"

Why U even on a boxing forum where U seem to relish U inner stoopid for folk to kick around?
Lewis was preparing for a bum mandatory Vs a 6'1" fat guy to be fair, not exactly ideal prep for a fight Vs vitali

        Still win tho

The mind of a champion is not an even-handed place. He said the same **** on Joe Rogan's podcast: when a guy knocked him out it was a lucky punch, the count was fast, and Don King bribed the ref. When he won on a cut in a fight he appeared to be losing, it was pure skill, he was out of shape, and he'd have obviously won the rematch easy anyway so why bother. Better shave off my eyebrows if I'm ever gonna see him in person, otherwise he'll notice what they do when he talks...

As much a I enjoy the "best I faced" bits I think it's hilarious how almost all of them pick guys they beat as "the best". Y'know, because if the the best is a guy you beat, then you're the best. You would think that in retirement, with nothing left to prove in the ring, they could take a break from building firewalls around their egos and be honest. But I guess since so few of them go on to do anything significant after boxing, defending the ego turns into defending the legacy...

Lewis is still such a prick.

Glad to see things haven't changed.

                  - -Made up the Lewie the Lion moniker and went out as Mary's little lamb.

Said after Tyson he was on the top of his game and was gonna fight 6 more fights and retire.
Ain't even close to the way it played out.

Vitali was supposed to fight on the undercard of lewis vs johnson vs Cedric Boswell . They were both well into camps when the fight was made with 2 weeks to the date . They both were under the same circumstances.

Before the Vitali fight, Lennox never mentioned any thoughts of retirement. Watch the full HBO telecast, he sounded like he planned on several more fights. No mention of quitting. He quit after Vitali because that brutal fight stripped him of his self belief that he was the best. Lennox was not sure if he could beat Vitali in the rematch. Lennox cleverly waited around for two more Vitali fights before finally officially retiring. Lennox was hoping Vitali would lose to Kirk Johnson and Corrie Sanders and even predicted Vitali would lose both of those fights. When Vitali won both, Lennox decided to retire - because he could not continue boxing without giving Vitali the rematch. Trust me, I followed this whole drama very closely. Lewis was not sure he could beat Vitali in the rematch, that's why he retired.
