I don't really like Hatman but he's somewhat right to an extent.

But I would say Hatman's favourite boxer Wilder is the most overrated boxer ever. Then Tyson, followed by Bowe. You can throw another Hatman favourite Razor Ruddock in there as well.

I aint even listen to it, but he's wrong.

Tyson fought who was around for him to fight. He beat 8 of the top 10 ranked heavyweights from the year he became champion.

He beat a Larry Holmes, who then 4 years later at 42 whooped Ray Mercer's ass, who then was robbed against Lennox Lewis & hurt Evander Holyfield

Lennox, Evander, & Rid**** weren't ready when he was ready.

Then, when they were ready, he was either heading to prison, or was in prison, or was post-prison and wasn't the same fighter.

How many times does this have to be argued?

It's like that "Floyd's Resume" thread.

        Give it a rest.

I don’t know what offends people so much about people rating Tyson so highly. The fact that so many casual fans rate Tyson highly is just a testament to how many he drew into the sport. He obviously did something well to gain such a massive following...say what you will about the guy, but he’s one of a handful of guys who really transcended the sport into the mainstream.
