The rest is all up to Ruiz. He needs to want it, be willing to work hard, and eat/drink the right things. Hire a nutritionist if necessary.
Agreed, my thought is if he can't succeed with Reynoso than it's probably not going to happen. I hope he finds the drive and discipline to make another run for the titles.

When in the proper place mentally and physically, he is a tough out for any of the top HWs.

"if Mexican heavyweight Andy Ruiz ".

Andy Ruiz is not Mexican. He does come from Mexican heritage but he is an American and even his social media proved that up until some promoter decided it was better for him to pretend he was Mexican to win over that crowd.

He represented Mexico in two Olympic qualifying tournaments.

Still does not mean he is Mexican. Look at his history overall. He never posted about being Mexican or had flags or colors or anything prior to the Anthony Joshua fights now he is all about Mexican pride and claiming to be the first Mexican heavy weight champ.

Both of his parents are Mexican. The country of Mexico itself thought he was Mexican enough to represent them in Olympic qualification events.

Where was he born? My cousin represented both USA and Mexico for the women's FIFA soccer team. She was born in the U.S and her parents were both born in Mexico.

If he was so Mexican, why was he not displaying that after the Olympics and before the Joshua fights? He suddenly became interested in his Mexican heritage because it benefited him. His calling out of Fury for fighting on Mexican independence day wearing a Mexican inspired outfit was laughable. How can you tell a Gypsy to go back home or represent his country?
