His record is certainly decieving, I saw his fight with Floyd Jr. in 2000 and there's a reason Mayweather made it a non-title bout...He saw Augustus as a potential threat. Emanuel can be good when he gives a damn, he wasn't managed at all early in his career so he pretty much didn't give a crap about his fights, taking whatever he could land, often showing up to his short notice fights with a nappy hairdoo and full on beardage. The desire just wasn't there. I've seen his previous fight against Jaime Rangel on Friday Night Fights, Emanuel showed up with a clean shave and an energy not seen in his previous outings and soundly outboxed the **** out of Rangel. By far one of the most interesting styles I've seen in a fighter. His little Jitter Bug defense can make fighters look ******.
