Even at that Wilder is where near the second spot because he has been bums or aged Ortiz. Besides, the other top ten fighters will knock out before he even get the chance to load and swing that right hand. A one trick pony is easy to dismantle virtually by all top guys.

The way Lewis got knocked out those two is more embarrassing than the temple shot that got AJ concussed. AJ is bigger than Lewis and has got power and combo which will be too much for Lewis. I have been watching boxing since the 80's so I saw all the top guys in the 90s from the time they were just promising prospects. Lewis never had the aura of invincible as the like of Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield had in their prime. Vitali Klitschko was winning before the bad cut caused the fight to be stopped. Thus if Lewis and AJ fight in their prime I would have given 60/40 to AJ.Rahman was 2 time world champion & was a solid fighter in his prime. McCall was also a legit contender & beat some good HWs. AJ more power than Lewis? I don’t know about that. Lennox’s got 1 punched twice but both times he took those opponents lightly. He was never down in a fight other than those 2 big punches. McCall & Rahman were Both big punchers. Lennox’s biggest weakness was arrogance & it cost him twice. Look what he did to Rahman in the rematch. I been around since the Tyson era & Lennox was the best by my generation. The 90s a few losses didn’t mean anything because everyone fought each otherLast edited by Boxviewer; 04-30-2020, 03:24 AM.Comment

Well said. That were exactly my thoughts. I have been boxing since the 80's. Lewis beat the top guys who have past their prime.Rahman won his first world title by upsetting Lewis, of course. He won his second by beating Monte Barret for the WBC interim then getting upgraded when Vitali retired.
Lewis was the only prime elite opponent Rahman and McMcall ever beat. They were definitely no better than Any Ruiz.Last edited by Boxviewer; 04-29-2020, 11:50 PM.Comment

Comparing Bruno with AJ's boxing is ridiculous, AJ is so much a better boxer than Bruno and Bruno had some success against Lewis. AJ could have knocked out Lewis imo.Comment

Be thankful for dreams, AJ. You wouldn't want that reality. I was at the garden in 2000 or so when Lennox fought Michael Grant. Of all the fights i've been to in my life, that was still the hardest I ever saw anyone get hit. I sat in the middle row and i could hear the punches echo through the arena. I'll always remember the sound of those punches. And I saw both Klitschko's live.Comment

Lewis would absolutely destroy Joshua. It would not even be close. All's Lennox ever did is say what the fans (himself included want) the top fights and not Joshua and the Hearns ten year business plan that was derailed by a fat little man.Comment

He avenged his losses with KOs. AJ avenged his loss by decision. There are levels to this, and I believe Lennoix is a level above AJ. Lennox also beat much more superior fighters than AJ too.Comment
