You're dreaming player. Styles make fights and Spinks' style doesn't pose a threat to Floyd's style. The only reason Spinks got ANY of these fights is that Spinks got trotted out to be slaughtered by Mayorga. Considering the point deductions Mayorga SHOULD have won the fight. He turned his fight with Karmazin into a track meet and barely won. And he barely beat Judah the first fight and got KTFO the second time. Meanwhile Margarito hasn't lost a fight in 10 years at WW (yes I know he hasn't fought the top opposition but neither did Spinks until very recently). Factor in that nobody can outbox Floyd that is close to his weight, that Floyd's chin is above average at best, and Margarito's power and I clearly see one as a bigger threat. Not saying Margarito would win but definitely would be tougher than Spinks.

            Spinks > Margarito

Thank you for your opinion. Try backing that up with some facts other than Spinks was gifted 2 decisions against Karmazin and Mayorga (deductions?) and squeaked 1 out against Judah then got KTFO. So those are all his "big" wins...he also lost to Picirillo fairly recently and Margarito hasn't lost at WW in 10 years.

Margarito has fought lesser opponents. Also Spinks is a better boxer as far as technique goes.

Now those are two FACTS, I just don't think they are particularly relevant. Nobody is going to outbox Floyd Mayweather under 160 except maybe Winky Wright...it certainly won't be Cory Spinks. Margarito has fought lesser opponents but that is because he is more dangerous. Spinks would never be in the position he is in now if he wasn't seen as a weak fighter. He was sent out to be killed against Mayorga but that idiot couldn't behave enough to prevent 2 point deductions that cost him the fight. Spinks barely beat Judah the first time, then got KTFO so that is sort of a wash if you ask me. And he squeaked by Karmazin by the narrowest of margins and in a really unappealing womanly way (running). As a result I have far more respect for Margarito who may not have the name opponents yet but has looked dominant in every fight at 147.
