You are right. I am a bit harsh on Hatton. I don’t like his style but shouldn’t be dismissiveComment

You missed the point, he has fought much bigger guys and out reaches them with speed and length, he takes their jab away, thats why they stop because he counter times them and makes them pay so they begin to shut down, they all throw less and less, why do you think that is.i had floyds entire career set so yes i've watched him. you said corrales was a tall guy with a jab but corrales was a guy that always gave up his jab so i dont understand why you said that. he was a come forward pressure fighter who liked to fight inside, not use his jab. oscar was never a good pressure fighter so im not sure why yo mentioned that either. its liek saying wilder has good footwork or something when you say things like that. those guys were good fighters for sure but you are taking things they are bad at and listing them as positives.
im not hating im just saying what i saw. he has a very deep resume but its not top heavy at all. for example leonard has a top heavy resume but its not deep at all. ali has a top heavy and deep resume. floyd doenst have a top heavy resume but it is deep. i'll take leonard and ali's over floyds any day. he just doesnt have the top quality wins and whne that is the case it just invicted speuclation. some people go the fanboy route and therefore say he cant be beaten and others say we dont really know what would have happened. the guy struggled badly to avoid the left when he fought guys like corley and judah so im not sure spence would be a walk in the park. top guys rarely destroy each other. i dont get why fans do this. ggg didnt destroy jacobs or canelo omg bum.
Its always the other guy just decided to stop beating him lol. maybe no matter what they bring to him he adapts on the fly.Comment

——————My original post was about Spence and Floyd and I stated that Floyd didn’t really beat anyone in their “prime” comparable to the skill set of Spence, who is in his prime. I stand by that. I don’t think their is (1) fighter on Floyd’s career resume that he fought while they were in their “prime,” that was on the same level as Spence right now.
That’s fine but you did write that Manny beat a prime Mosley while Floyd beat a past his prime Mosley.
Floyd-Mosley was May 2010
PAC-Mosley was May 2011
So, how is Mosley in his prime a year after getting pummeled by Floyd yet prime for Manny?Comment

PLEASE!!! Are you f@cking drunk already tonite??? My original point AGAIN, is that Floyd has never fought anyone in their prime with the skill set of Spence. In the article and on the podcast Spence was on they asked him, if him and Floyd fought, in their “primes,” who would win. That was the question asked to Spence. They are talking about the same weight class. What f@cking weight class did all those fighters you named fight in. You must have rode on the short bus as a kid. You totally took argument in an entirely different direction. And NONE of those fighters in their prime could box, attack the body, fight, or had the chin of Spence. Hernandez & Castillo, that’s your argument. Someone needs to ban you from here, and stay off the alcohol & drugs, LMAO, fool!!!Would you not say that Genaro Hernandez and Jose Luis Castillo were elite fighters in their prime? They had combined records of 83-5 at the time and both were considered the top fighters in all of their divisions at the time. Hernandez was 12-0 in title fights at 130 and Floyd beat him in his 2nd year as a pro. Castillo went on to win the lineal belt again after beating Lazcano, Casamayor and Corrales all after losing to Floyd. Like him or not you have to give him credit those were both great wins against top guys.Comment

Wow I didn’t realise you’d get your feelings so hurt just by me replying to you. You said Floyd hasn’t fought any prime elite fighters, so I pointed some out. I apologise if I hurt your feelings it really wasn’t my intention to. I’ll make sure I don’t do it again!PLEASE!!! Are you f@cking drunk already tonite??? I NEVER said Manny beat a prime Mosley; go back and read that post again. As a matter of fact, Manny didn’t beat a prime Mosley or a prime Cotto as I am concerned. I said, Floyd did not beat a “prime” Manny who beat Cotto, Mosley, Hatton, & Oscar. A PRIME MANNY. Neither Manny of Floyd beat a prime Mosley. I said that a bunch of times on this forum over the years.Comment
