  • Aww hell no!! No way in the world was he ever gonna beat Mayweather! Spence is very good, but very good in a face to face technical kind of way. He's a great 'straight line' fighter who is able to cut off the ring against guys who aint really tryna use evasive footwork!

Mayweather on the other hand, had supreme footwork that allowed him to lead with ANY punch he decided to throw.....Man, I could talk a truckload right now, but I'll leave it for another day..lol!

Mayweather has to (one day) humbly give props to Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard & Ali for for taking their "footwork" to another championship level - because Lil' Floyd was able to add onother glorified PPV$ dimension his.

Spence had a difficult time against Brook - no matter what the Brook haters want to believe. Brook threw well timed (and well placed) straight shots at Spence - then escaped everything Spence came back with - until the already fragile next door eye socket succumbed to well placed follow up bombs from Spence.....

Man,... Spence is good, but he has NOT added enough to his arsenal for a guy like Money May!!! Hell, even Crawford is too diverse for Spence.... Spence could/might be in his laboratory working on more aspects to his game (right now) as I hit the keyboard....so he IS capable of getting better! But as it stands right now? Mayweathers mental game and physical skill set would tie up the BEST of them - including the B-line strategist Spence.....

    • He is suppose to say that, but I think Floyd simply has to many levels for Spence..I think it would start off competitive but Floyd will make them adjustments and start busting him up

May beat Pac convincingly. The same Pac that steamrolled over the Tijuana Tomato.

As for Williams, May would have figured him out as he does all his opponents.

As for power the Mayweather that fought De La Hoya and Mosley was just as strong. He could’ve stopped Mosley in that fight if he wanted to, and stunned DLH several times who entered the ring at 170. So when you look at it like that, yep, no advantages.

Prime Floyd is just a better fighter all around the board. Not saying it would be 12-0 but he wins the fight and it’s not close.
Spence would come in just as big as DLH probably about 15 over Floyd. That’s still an advantage. And i don’t care about could haves, Spence hits harder than Floyd. There’s no way you could argue that. He has stopped or dropped both elite fighters he’s faced and is a career 147 with more knockouts.

            • Nonsense coming from Spence who by the way is running away from Crawford. Spence thinks he could use the jab against Mayweather but forgets Mayweather takes away people’s jabs. Dela Hoya should have jabbed more but Floyd took that jab away. Spence claims he should have gone to the body but does anyone cover the body more than Floyd? He thinks he could cut ring for Floyd in his prime? This idiot needs to have his head examined, that accident left him ******ed.

Lol @ Bumgacheato even being mentioned in the same sentence as Mayweather. Mosley almost decapitated that slow cheating bum and Floyd beat him 11-1 straight after. If he beat Mosley he would’ve got the fight but without loaded gloves he was nothing and Shane almost killed him in that fight. One of the most one sided brutal ass kickings in the history of boxing.

As for Williams he got his ears boxed off by Quintana and Lara and neither of those guys were even comparable to Floyd Mayweather. I liked Paul but he was too predictable and would have been a sitting duck for Floyds accurate counterpunching. Even though he was fighting at 160, at any weight it’s easy work for Floyd.

                • Spence is nice but he couldn’t beat prime Mayweather. I don’t know that he gets past Crawford. But let’s see it!!!

                  • Floyd beats him ala 8-4, 7-5. Spence is a great fighter but there's levels. Floyd would have the speed advantage and would take that jab away by round 5. Wat the hell do I know, Floyd usually when these fantasy matches against most modern boxers. Old school , it's a different story. Truth is, Floyd doesn't drink, if he clubs, hrs going to the gym afterwards. I'm not a fan of his antics, but you gotta respect the work he puts in

I see what you’re saying but pretty much everyone Floyd fought after 2009 came in heavier. Doesn’t mean they were “stronger” or “bigger”. Spence is strong don’t get me wrong but Mayweather from 20-30 was knocking out or stopping most guys too. Even a 33 year old Mayweather pushed Mosley around the ring and hurt him several times. Shane was meant to be “bigger and stronger” but it just wasn’t the case. Floyd just didn’t try to knock people out due to hand problems so I can agree with you later on in his career. But in his prime at 130-140 he was knocking out almost everybody.
