Mayweather would've evaded Spence just like he did Paul Williams and Antonio Margarito. Imho

Spence confuses sparring with Bright Lights. They said he dominated Porter in Sparring, but under the lights he was one glove to mat touch from getting a draw or loss. Mayweather would have outclassed Spence, I have not seen anything in his arsenal that would convince me that a night with Mayweather would not end in disappointment. However, I do believe Spence has the appropriate mentality. That's how he is supposed to feel.

It’s been a rough year so he might not come back, but I have a feeling there’s 1 fight left.
I agree with you. From the financial standpoint McGregor and Khabib would draw more money but from a fans perspective Spence is way more interesting of a fight to me.

              Jose Luis Castillo x2

              Miguel Cotto
              Canelo
              Maidana x2

All of those guys have a ton of knockouts and are known for body punches. As for the Ricky Hatton fight I’m from the UK and I had Ricky winning 1 round. Cortez actually let a ton go in that fight and just did his job. Floyd just beat him at his own game, most of the fight was fought in close quarters and Money still got the better of him. At the end of the day it’s boxing not wrestling or MMA.

Spence has no advantages over Floyd. Probably wins a few rounds like Judah but skill wise and mentally there’s no way he could match TBE. Especially in his prime. It wouldn’t be close.
Size and power aren’t advantages? Last i checked they were

Out of all the welterweights today Spence is the one i’d pick to give the best fight against a prime Floyd.

That’s pretty much how I feel about it. Sugar Ray Leonard said in his book he kept getting beat up in sparring before the Hagler fight, really doesn’t mean anything. Doesn’t mean those guys could have done anything to him in a real fight. Plus Floyd just said Spence gave him good work that can mean anything. He’s talented but the problem with beating Floyd is the mental game. He said himself there’s loads of guys bigger, faster, stronger but there’s nobody smarter. He made adjustments in the ring and I don’t see many fighters doing that. Even a lot of top fighters fight the same way every round and can’t adjust and adapt in there.

He’s one and a half inches taller than Floyd and had the same reach. But he doesn’t fight tall so it wouldn’t make a difference. As for power the Mayweather that fought De La Hoya and Mosley was just as strong. He could’ve stopped Mosley in that fight if he wanted to, and stunned DLH several times who entered the ring at 170. So when you look at it like that, yep, no advantages.

Prime Floyd is just a better fighter all around the board. Not saying it would be 12-0 but he wins the fight and it’s not close.

Another way of looking at it is that Floyd owns part of the PBC so it makes no sense to come back and beat fighters who are making him money. I could see the Pacquiao fight because he still has a huge fan base who bought into the excuses and therefore will pay to see TBE school him again, but nobody else in boxing makes sense really.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Pacquiao again then McGregor 2 but Khabib beating McGregor kinda ruined that. Unless he can win the rematch. I think that was the plan this year, but family issues and the virus has killed it for now at least. I see one more comeback. $200-300 million is just too much money and against UFC fighters he would be silly not to. I’d fight Manny again too before someone else beats him.
