Comments Thread For: Bellew Confident That He'd Play With Andy Ruiz, Make Fool of Him

Former world champion Tony Bellew believes that he's still capable of beating top fighters right now - if he dedicated himself to making a comeback in the sport. The man who captured the WBC world title at cruiserweight, retired from the sport in 2018 after suffering a knockout loss at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk.

Both are a pair of fat bums, no interest whatsoever.

Go for it. I don’t see the downside for either fighter financially? Have it in the UK.

Stop it dude. DAZN YouTube recently uploaded Usyk ve Bellew... I find it funny how Sky or others said Bellew was “ahead” 3 rounds on all cards. Though his decline started dipping after the fifth, which means Usyk was racking up round one by one showing Bellew wearing down. Meaning, at that pace by the 11th it’d be a DRAW and Usyk winning thereafter. So this whole “Bellew was winning the fight” without acknowledging him starting to lose rounds is denialism that Usyk is superior.

With all that being said, Ruiz would be a nightmare for Bellew. That’s Abrams tank bidness. Of course Eddie just telling Bellew the possibilities of filler fights so they can all make a buck.

        Ruiz stops him in 5.

He was besting Usyk. To make an argument if the fight would had been a draw at round 11 is a big achievement for bellew who was really nothing special. However I think Ruiz would come in too big for bellew and I think bellew would try to box him and gas out then get knocked out.

I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a comeback. He was beating Usyk on all the cards before the stoppage, so he gave a good account of himself in his last fight.

He hates all matchroom fighters with an irrational deep seated loathing, and he has to call Ruiz trash because he lost to AJ

He thinks Fury, wilder and Ortiz are all amazing though obviously

Haha OK perhaps that was a tad harsh on Tony.
