I saw Dirrell get battered, he had his moments but few and far between. Try earning that rematch instead of talking about why you deserve it.

Good points and, although I agree that Dirrell made Benevidez look one dimensional, tbh I didn't see Dirrell actually taking a lead.
End result he got cut and stopped, and probably needs a good win or two to have any chance of a rematch.

Benavidez battered a bloodied Dirrell toward the end of their 168-pound championship match September 28, until referee Thomas Taylor stopped it in the ninth round.

Dirrel lost that fight and was himself being worn down before the cut. I think at this point he should pursue Danny Jacobs. That would be an interesting matchup and a good gauge to see if Danny has acclimatized to super middle

Eh???? Am i suffering from a bad memory because as i recall dirrell was getting completely battered and was going to get knocked out regardless of the cut. Did he win a round?

I guess I need to watch this again. I didn’t come away with the impression that Dirrell was all that competitive. The way I remember it, Benevidez was simply walking through him.
