That's a very optimistic outlook on a trilogy fight after a one sided rematch. I think it'd be impressive if they could beat the 800k buys the rematch did let alone double it basically.

Fight ain't doing 1.5 mill and I highly doubt it matches the 2nd fight.

Wilder got out-boxed first fight and then got his ass beat by a Brit in the 2nd. A 3rd fight makes no sense, Wilder needs to get his confidence back and a fight with Ruiz can do just that.

Wilder was lucky to make 2 or 3 million off that fight, probably less. There were 6k fans in the stands hahaha. Again, look it up you moron. You don't make 20 million off 6k fans hahahah. And just read through all the comments on Wilder vs Fury 3 and you will see that only delusional Wilder fans like yourself want to see this crap fight. The PPV numbers will be so bad that they won't announce them I am sure and the live gate will be even worse. It's a forgone conclusion, Wilder will get smashed again by feather fisted Fury. Then he will make even more excuses and his idiotic fans (like you) will get behind him again yelling bombsquad. Have you even rewatched the rematch?? I mean, Wilder got all out clowned and Fury isn't even a hard puncher
This is what happens when you go by word of mouth, hang onto every word Hearn says and don't do your own research. Wilder made $20 million for the Breazeale fight. The fight itself was sold out. You just don't understand the US market. It's much more saturated than the UK market.

Showtime matched the DAZN offer for the Breazeale fight and was outbid by Fox for the Ortiz PPV. Wilder made over $20 million for the Ortiz fight and don't forget that the fight itself was partly promoted by his own promotional company, so that's money you don't see. This is what Al Haymon does: helps to make you self-sufficient and your own boss.

Fury can't draw flies in the United States. Both the Schwarz and Walllin fights drew less people than were given tickets. Wilder was the draw for both Fury fights, and continues to be the most exciting heavyweight on the planet. Now Fury is a star in the US only because he beat Wilder, and the rubber match will be even more intriguing than the rematch. Joshua, on the other hand, has some work to do...

The opposite would be more the case. The economy is down so people will be more reserved to pay for a bout that for 99 per cent is predictable going by the outcome of the two previous fights.

I’m not so sure if ppv anywhere will do that well. You will have a huge amount of sport being crammed into a short space of time. Every sport will be trying to finish their seasons.

The premier league want to complete their football season.

F1 want to stage as many races as they can do.

And boxing will have so many potential matches which were already lined up. In the UK we were already expecting a rout six ppv in a short period of time.

With people being financially bit who won’t want to expend additional money, added to that their will be multiple alternative sports to watch I struggle to see them doing well for a little while. Another thing not to under estimate is how many people will watch less tv in general for a period of time as people want to get out and go and do things they previously won’t/couldn’t do

800,000 on PPV is probably 5 times better than any numbers Joshua could hope to sell here in America.
