Comments Thread For: Bellew: Usyk Will Beat Every Heavyweight - Except Fury, Joshua

Former two division champion Tony Bellew believes Oleksandr Usyk will have a lot of success in the heavyweight division. But, he does not expect him to beat two of the three top guys at the weight - WBC champion Tyson Fury and WBA, IBO, IBF, WBO champion Anthony Joshua.

Usyk is skilled fighter and if he can take a hw punch, he can have some success here.

I don’t think he gets by Wilder. Be like watching Khan vs. Canelo

Right now I still have high hopes for Usyk and I could see him beating Joshua but not Fury.

Though saying that I agree he hasn't looked dazzling so far at the weight. He needs to make sure he isn't as hittable as he looked. I expect he will raise his game when he needs to. But time will tell.

I don't think Usyk will beat any top hw but hes capable of beating them on paper. He just doesn't hit hard enough imo but everyone besides me seemingly was saying Fury was feather fisted & can't hurt Wilder,I knew that speed & size equals power in many ways & that Fury hits hard enough to keep Wilder from walking him down in 1st fight so I knew he had it in him to hurt Wilder & he proved me right(my post history proves it)so for all I know I might be wrong about Usyk as others were about Fury.

Fury had previously stated that he doesn't have any interest in facing Usyk.

Why would there be a lack of interest from the public to see the former undisputed cruiserweight champion and the 2017-2018 WBSS tournament winner?

Taking into consideration that Oleksandr Usyk who is signed with UK's top promoter ( Eddie Hearn/Matchroom), has already brutally KO Tony Bellew on SKY PPV and is scheduled to fight another English-Bum Dereck Chisora on box-office. Makes me wonder what is the motive for Tyson's false disparaging and dismissive remarks to the media regarding Oleksandr Usyk.

Moreover, Usyk has won Gold in the 2012 London Olympic games, but prior to this outstanding accomplishment, Olek, had a impressive undefeated amateur record in the UK ( 8-0 ), and also has a notable win that surely sparks British interest : In 2013, Oleksandr defeated the UK's 2016 Summer Olympic Super-Heavyweight 'Silver' Medalist Joe Joyce, in the World Series of Boxing at York-Hall.

But I forgot that Tyson cant box in the UK due to his ongoing UKAD investigation, maybe the truth irritates Tyson ( as usual ), that the British public are anxiously anticipating Oleksandr Usyk next big fight ( contrary to Tyson's negative opinion ), but they cant say for sure when Tyson will ever fight at home, whilst a foreigner has more notable wins on British soil, and stands to gain all the belts that Tyson failed to defend in his home-country.

Yeah, that must be it, Tyson is hating on Oleksandr Usyk.
