Hearn offered Fury proper fights - Bellew, Whyte, Joshua. Just for the Bellew fight he would have made about what he made in the first Wilder fight. Fury also demanded 60% for the Joshua fight but had no problem taking less than 50% against Wilder in their first fight.
In other words, Fury straight up ducked Joshua and decided to go the much easier route fighting a few no-name bums like Seferi, Pianeta, Schwarz and Wallin and bum beater Wilder for far less money than just one Joshua fight.Comment

Some funny posts on here. To be fair to Hearn, Fury has said numerous times that it would be like signing for the 'enemy' due to the Joshua connection. He certainly wouldn't want to play second fiddle to AJ in the Matchroom (or any other) stable.
I remember Hearn talking about potentially signing Fury but it was all about getting him in the ring with AJ quite quickly and on his terms. Bob and Frank had bigger, more longterm plans and were happy to bring Fury back at his own pace and invest in the bigger picture. So it's no surprise really, was never close to happening.Comment

Spot on... Fury would have made more money with Hearn, but Hearn would not let Fury fight bums.
Hearn is GREAT for boxing fans, but it is absolutely not the quick and easy money, aka scamming fight fans fighting no names.Comment

I didn't want to give him the fights that he wanted to take at the time, because I thought it was just too much money and the fights weren't good enoughComment
