I wouldn’t say he is cherrypicking.
Pacquiao for example, was not cherrypicking DLH. Even if Roach was claiming DLH is done, can’t pull the trigger and can’t make 147 comfortably. People still called both of them crazy, ******, and wrong.
A fight can’t be a cherrypick when 90% (just throwing numbers out there) of fans and experts think you’re going to lose.
Sure LSC and his team see flaws in Davis’ weight making routines, but if those flaws are being ignored by fans and they want to call you crazy, ******, and accusing you of cashing out, then it is not a cherrypick. For a cherrypick to be a cherrypick, the majority of fans, writers, and experts must see it as a cherrypick. In this case, the majority of these groups see it as Davis cherrypicking LSC. So if LSC wins, in hindsight, fans will then start claiming they knew all along that this was going to happen.
