One of the greatest featherweights of all time and IMO laid the foundation of pure boxing, and evolved boxing with his style.

Most of the time, boxing were just meaningless brawls even at the higher level, but Pep really emphasized the style of hit and not get hit.

I just went with McCoy as an example, there's loads of guys. My point was there's actually quite a few more than your usually listed names. I'd say Armstrong gets listed quite often.

No, but I've never seen Caesar conquer England either. It is history. To say only what you've seen has value is to take yourself out of historical discussion and thereby discount yourself in any ATG conversation.

How many fights of Sugar Ray Robinson are actually filmed? He has no problem making lists all the same.

Threads like this are pointless if you do not have a list

go watch him fight hit youtube...actually do the research

Pep only had 11 loses in over 200 fights.... 229–11–1 lightweight champion sammy angott a hall of famer in his first

he was the feathweight champion of the world and his only loss ...went 62 fights undefeated took that L went another 70 fights undefeated until he was in a plane crash thought he wouldnt walk again let alone fight and was in the ring a few months later

he wasnt the same after this but continued on and had a great rivalry with sandy saddler arguably the hardest hitting feathweight of all time with over 100 kos

beat many world champions and hall of famers from 135 and down

he was almost unbeatable at his best....loses before he was clearly past it was only to clearly larger men

possibly the best defense and footwork of all time

          gotta check him out bro
