One of the greatest featherweights of all time and IMO laid the foundation of pure boxing, and evolved boxing with his style.

Most of the time, boxing were just meaningless brawls even at the higher level, but Pep really emphasized the style of hit and not get hit.

Have you ever even watched half of these fighter’s? Should mention Armstrong. Didn’t he hold 3 titles(back when it was only one title per division) in three divisions at the same time?

I just went with McCoy as an example, there's loads of guys. My point was there's actually quite a few more than your usually listed names. I'd say Armstrong gets listed quite often.


No, but I've never seen Caesar conquer England either. It is history. To say only what you've seen has value is to take yourself out of historical discussion and thereby discount yourself in any ATG conversation.
