I don’t disagree that Linares sometimes looks like crap and other times looks a level above but that is the way of all athletes. Fighters usually don’t get that benefit of doubt though. To many fans a fighter is only as good as his worst night.Comment

Cano knocking him out took away any remaining luster Linares had.
Don't care to see him against Lomachenko again.Comment

Linares was Big vs Loma
He was 153lbs fight morning,I know this for afact from his own people. That was Linares last harra unless he goes on a rampage. Garcia's management wouldn't let him fight Linares unless he's showing age in the gymComment

Shame he’s gonna cash out against that little h*** Garcia.Comment

Yes, although he's had some great performances, there's also something not quite there with Linares. Maybe it is his punch resistance, maybe the weight cut takes too much out of him?? Ehatever it is, its just the way he is. A rematch with lomachenko seems unlikely given the present trajectory of their respective careers. Like another poster said, GBP are looking to feed Linares to Garcia so they must feel he's definitely on the downward slide.Last edited by tokon; 04-24-2020, 04:50 AM.Comment

Too many boxers for Loma: Gary Russell, Linares, Lopez, Tank, Devon, Shakur, Garcia (both of them, if Mikey comes back down), Berchelt, even Campbell wants another shot. Not to mention, Kambiosis (Australian dude), and some others. When? We want Tank, Teo and Shakur and Devon. Then maybe the younger Garcia. Make that Loma's lineup in the next few years. Tank will train the hardest he ever has, so will all the others. Good measuring stick for Loma.Last edited by TarasMarcenko; 04-24-2020, 04:31 PM.Comment
