I hear you. Still the sad truth is that making excuses has always been worth more than owning up to the other guy being the better man. In a lot of ways that’s the fault of us fans and the media. There’s a lot of honest fighters that say they deserved to lose, but that doesn’t get rematches or cause buzz. If Wilder sabotaged himself doing something so ignorantly ****** then he ripped off all the fans. Hes not going to pay back a dime.Yeah he looks ridiculous but without the excuse the rematch wouldn’t have as much talk or intrigue. Hearns getting a massage is a classic example. I’m sure he got plenty of massages before fights. I mean why would he randomly get one before one of his biggest fights on a whim? Okay if it was his first time and that’s the excuse then he ripped off all the fans also. Everyone’s in the best shape of their life until they lose and then and say they were hurt, sick, and had a bad camp due to issues they don’t want to talk about. These forums are so divided it makes sense why any losing fighter would blame their loss on whatever they can. Is there any proof in the world of anyone commenting that mannys shoulder seemed injured during the fight? It’s just the precedent of boxing. It’s not like these guys have to take lie detector tests, weigh in on fight night, or take off their clothes on the scale. Boxers have only got more and fans less. But that’s what they can get away with.

The one criticism I can make of Fury's performance in the last fight is that he often smothered his own work. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was working on correcting this right now. I think he beats Wilder even more convincingly next time.

There’s footage of Canelo's glove doing the exact same thing. I guarantee you didn’t notice the glove until you saw stills and slow mo footage of it. I guarantee you’ll find plenty of gloves doing the same if you go through fights and slow them down.

I think it was more a case of...smother Wilder so he can’t work, and ping shots off his head in between. I think the third go will be a combination of both fights; Fury using his boxing more to embarrass Wilder then wrap him up any time things get dangerous.
