Comments Thread For: Whyte Confident He Can KO Any Top UFC Heavyweight, Slams Ngannou

Heavyweight Dillian Whyte is confident that it won't take much to get back in the swing of things for a potential UFC debut. Whyte was a professional kickboxer and became a two-time British heavyweight champion by winning the BIKMA super heavyweight British title and the European K1 championship. He had a 20-1 record under K-1.

Whyte would flatten any of those ufc heavyweights as soon as he landed on them. It’s not a bad move for him actually. I think he would be dominant as long as he stayed in shape. When Ray Mercer landed on 2 time Ufc champion Tim Sylvia and knocked him spark out with one shot within seconds it showed what a world class boxer can do in the cage when he lands. Whyte has been there before in 3 combat sports. I’d actually prefer arch Ufc again if he went that route

Whyte may wanna try becoming a champ in 1 before he thinks about both. As far as him beating Stipe I dont know about it. In a boxing ring yeah its logical but him going to UFC could be embarrassing at best. I dont know much about UFC but I know enough to know while he is throwing punches he may get kicked in the face or power slammed and beat to death.

I agree with some of this. Though I'll point out that Tim Silvia is not a well regarded champion in MMA circles. He was on a losing streak, had been cut by the UFC and is largely considered a relic of the past. Your points about boxers in the cage is correct however. Boxing is one of the most important facets in all of MMA.

Ngannou probably hasn't actually heard of Whyte to be honest lol. He looks to be in line for another title shot in UFC so any boxing interests he might have would be put on the back burner right now I would assume.

Hard for him to become a champion when the governing body colludes with the 'champ' to allow him to duck.
And don't give me any bs about Wilder ordered him to fight Ortiz first. That's not Wilder's call - Wilder needs to fight proper guys.
Sorry, I should say he 'needed' to fight proper guys. It's past tense now because he got his ass whooped and got humiliated and exposed, then made up some fairy tales lol. Guy's a pos.

More chance at being a world champion than in boxing. More of an opportunity too. Good enough or not, if you can bring plenty of money to the UFC table then Dana will get you whatever fight you want.. just ask McGregor

I'm gonna take it you incredibly hate Wilder and that's cool but to blame it all on Wilder is BS because in his 5 year run as a champion how many other belts are there and if I remember correctly he turned down the AJ fight as a Miller replacement because he priced himself out on the fight and didn't like the way the rematch clause went in AJ's favor if he won. Either way that's WHYTE'S fault and has absolutely nothing to do with Wilder but as I said your entitled to your opinion mine is Whyte is a media whore plain and simple. Not to say he isn't talented just saying he seems to blame everyone but himself ALL the time but talks more crap than a 2 dollar radio.
