Haney having fought nobody noteworthy , would just look like a cherrypick in the end
Paper champ at best , let him fight someone noteworthy and then step up
At least Lopez earned his shot
Haney was his mandatory. He opted to vacate the belt rather than fight him. Looks more like Lomachenko avoiding a dangerous challenge than anything else...

I get what your saying and honestly I wouldn’t want to see that fight at that point
Loma would be damned if he did or damned if he didn’t
I really do see Lopez as a bigger threat than Haney will be at any given time

It wasn't a good look for Lomachenko, sneaking around Devin Haney, stealing his shot at the WBC title, then running off to the WBC convention to plead for franchise status so that he could avoid fighting Devin Haney altogether...

There was something about Devin Haney he didn't feel too confident about.

Who knows what happens behind closed doors
Maybe there’s something to it but I would really doubt he would run from Haney

I'm just going by his actions. He had no problem fighting Anthony Crolla, but is going out of his way to not fight Haney.
