Fwiw I was in another thread with a few Canelo fans, who were apoplectic still about the GGG-Canelo fights and coming at me because I simply stated I felt GGG won both...so I thought it would be funny to make this thread.
I'm not hating on Canelo with this thread, not in my opinion anyway...I thought it was funny, and let's be real, it's pretty accurate too.
I don't really see the angle that GGG gets the same treatment from judges, so I never really understood your initial comment, but I tried to indulge you as best I could...at the time of stoppage, Brook had very good cards vs GGG, and I felt Jacobs fought GGG well but he didn't win 5+ rounds...so he had good cards too...Canelo got great cards against GGG...3 fights vs the home fighter, and they all got better than deserved cards imho.
Derevy fought very well and was a bit unlucky he was fighting a star and that he got dropped and cut early and was down 3 pts...if that fight was in a neutral venue GGG may still win, maybe by SD...if SD is the home fighter there he probably wins.
I am even-handed on criticism for all fighters imho...but that doesn't mean I criticize them exactly the same...that would be dumb.Comment
