WBC basically stripped Canelo and this Spence guy is literally trying to fight a cab driver
Spence in negotiations to fight Maurice Lee

I’m sure this fight would be more for the training camp and some buck to keep him going (it’ll pay for camp fees too). He can probably fight quickly enough after to squeeze in two fights before years end against an opponent of this level.I would argue that even if Spence is attempting to find out where he is physically, this fight would show absolutely nothing at all.
Spence is a top P4P fighter in the WORLD, at that level he needs atleast a seasoned journeymen to push him to use his skills. This guy is just going to get knocked out in the first round, its a waste of time IMOComment

Eh, sure i could how it could benefit spence in those ways.. but boxing fans will not be motivated to watch this, maybe PBC can spin it to make this Lee guy look somewaht dangerous.. but like ive said, even IF spence is significantly diminished a guy of this low caliber will not expose that.
I have a hard time getting excited to watch a fight i already know the outcome ofComment

i dont care to use such words. just pointing out the double standard. why does this bother you?Damn he’s gonna stoop down to Crawford’s level and fight a bum.
Why do you care to use a word that black people use to refer to eachother?
Like what is it with people’s obsession with not being able to use that word? Does it really bother you that black people get mad when non blacks use that word? And why does it bother you? I mean obviously it bothers you, because you are bringing it up. Like you should be able to use the word freely, because, no reason.
That’s the more important question here. Not why black people get heated when non blacks use the N word, but why do non blacks want to use the term?
It’s clearly a word, a derogatory term, made up by white people to refer to black people when black people were ******. Black people, for some odd reason, use it just as other people use “man” or “dude”, to talk to each other. Why don’t white people just use their own terms and start calling eachother ******* or something?
If you and your brother or friend (hypothetically) call each other d/ck heads for fun, can I, a stranger, join in on the fun and call you two d/ck heads too? I mean you two call each other that right? That means I can call you that with no consequences too!
the bolded, yes, if me and my bro is ****** enough to call each other "D!kkheads" then why would we get mad if others use it towards us?
and i am not talking about using the "n" word towards another AA person. i was speaking in general. i see AA get mad at white boys for calling other white boys the "n" word.Comment

let me give you a more realistic comparison.Damn he’s gonna stoop down to Crawford’s level and fight a bum.

white boys call each other "bro" all the time right?
do you see white people taking offense when you call them "bro"? i never encounter a white man that got mad at me for calling him bro. in fact, they treat me a lot better after hearing that word.Comment

I'll say this.
We saw what happened with Keef took Josesito as his tuneup.
Interesting thing this Maurice Lee. He appears to be moving up from Jr. welter. I've seen him fight, he doesn't have power and he takes too many shots. Makes me wonder if this is really just Floyd/Haymon trying to keep a fighter paid. BUT, he appears to be at a level that will tell us for sure if Spence is damaged goods - because he should 'Ocampo' this guy with veritable ease.Comment

Bro is short for brother, which if you didn’t know, black people call each other brother and have been since way before you were born. And comparing bro to n/gga is absolutely f/cking ridiculous.let me give you a more realistic comparison.

do you see white people taking offense when you call them "bro"? i never encounter a white man that got mad at me for calling him bro. in fact, they treat me a lot better after hearing that word.
And if you allow a stranger to call you names silly names and you just take it and smile, that’s a whole different topic.
Why does it bother me you asked in your other reply? Why does it bother me that it bothers you that you can’t use the n word around black people?
That’s exactly it, it bothers me that it bothers you. A lot of things bother you (in general). A little black girl selling water with her mother bothers you. A black family eating at the park bothers you. A black man walking into his apartment building bothers you. Black men sitting in Starbucks bother you. “Black Lives Matter” bothers you. Not being able to use the N word around black people bothers you.
Just so much whining and complaining about what others are doing and you do not see how annoying it is to see a group of people who are so bad at minding their own business. Like re-read your initial post. You are bothered by not being able to use a derogatory term that some black people use on eachother. This bothers you. Let that sink in. You can not use the n word, and that bothers you. First f/cking world problems. Boo f/cking hoo. Black people get mad at white people using the n word. F/cking allow us to use the word freely god dammit.
Are non-Mexicans going to complain about not being able to call eachother “esse” or “homes” around Mexican people? Would a Mexican feel like maybe you’re trying to mock them? Why the hell would a non-Mexican want to use esse or homes? Why would a non-black want to use n/gga?
What does bro, dude, or man have anything to do with derogatory terms? Regardless, you’re asking this in the right place, because there are a lot of like-minded people who post here. So you will likely get the replies you want, which is, mocking black people and their vocabulary.
Obviously. OBVIOUSLY. You wouldn’t actually be dumb enough to hear a conversation between two black people, hearing them using the n-word, approach them and ask them...”Well hey there, how are you two black folks doing?...I couldn’t help but to overhear you two gentlemen calling eachother n/ggas and was wondering why you guys get mad at us non-blacks when we use it?”
Like you KNOW, why they get mad. So why ask?
Oh why can’t us white people, who enslaved black people and saw black people as a half a human until the 1960s (and beyond), and made up the term n/gg/r to refer to them, use the word without them getting mad at us?
Oh but we don’t get mad at people referring to themselves as bro so why can’t we use n/gga? Smh, life’s not f/cking fair. I demand permission to use n/gga cause we let you all use bro without getting mad.Comment

"bro" is not a black word, bro was made popular by white surfers and used it occasionally by white males.Bro is short for brother, which if you didn’t know, black people call each other brother and have been since way before you were born. And comparing bro to n/gga is absolutely f/cking ridiculous.

and why are you trying to add your own meaning for "GA"??? black guys are NOT calling each other "ER".
when other uses this word, they also use "GA", not "ER".
you trying to start something that aint even there! all because i pointed out the double standard.Comment

again, it's not a silly name IF i use it on my own self!! this is what you're not getting.
if the group i hang out with greet each other with "what's up dumbaxx"... then if someone comes up to me and say the same thing to me, i would not get mad! in fact, i would embrace it that he's showing me respect.
there is a difference. you're trying to twist the "n" word being used in this article as the same racist term white people used on blacks in the early days when you know damm well it doesnt have the same meaning. blacks are not calling other blacks "ER".Comment
