Celebrities who attend fights

Covid has me watching a lot of old fights. Is it just me or were there more celebrities ringside back in the day? I don’t see them anymore or maybe I’m just getting old and don’t recognize what passes for famous now.

Yeah they had A-list celebs back in the early 2000's, now they count ordinary boxers. "We have Will Smith, Tom Cruise and to top it all off Leo Santa Cruz."

HBO used to be the cream of the crop in boxing soon as they got rid of boxing HBO also starting going down hill.

Lot of the movie stars and celebs would benefit sitting ringside since HBO would show them ringside and give them good publicity and such but not anymore.

Showtime would make it a point to have their showtime series stars sit ringside and give interviews with the ringside reporter on what's new with their shows.

Hate to say it but most of the big celebs go to UFC because that big Hollywood agency owns UFC now.

You still see A-Listers these days. Denzel, Magic, LeBron, Jay-Z, Diddy and Barkley to name a few.

Most celebs aren’t fans they showed up because they’re Attention Whores knowing they’ll get 2 seconds of Camera Time at a fight and have the masses talking about them, the same reason they’ll show up to the Kentucky Derby

it use to be seen as cool to be front row at a Tyson fight or other big events its not the same anymore , Boxing’s fallen off the map and only a real big fight will cross over to the general public and those are the fights you’ll still see the Celebrities

I see a lot of older celebrities at fights, not many younger stars. Then again I don't know many young Hollywood and celebrity stars.
