Yeah, Briggs recently signed a BKFC deal.

They're talking about matching him up against former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez in his first fight. Interesting attraction with a 2X boxing heavyweight champ against an MMA champ.

Meanwhile, BKFC Champion Joey Beltran is supposed to fight the guy who won Ken Shamrock's Valor BK heavyweight tournament (Mark Godbeer). Fight is also supposed to be for the Police Gazette lineal title. Gunn is retired I believe, which is why the lineal title is up for grabs.

Then Briggs should get the winner, assuming he walks through Ricco (Ricco is a 42 year old grappling specialist, so Briggs shouldn't have any problems).

I've been a fan of Dat for some time now. I emailed him about a year or so ago telling him not to get discouraged since he had a couple good wins on TV but it was hard for him to get fights. He responded to me. He is one of the nicest guys.
