Americans became trash when the rest of the world embraced HW boxing.

They just can't compete at the highest level.

However, you can't blame the boxers - Wilder has just been well protected by his handlers and it's not like he has beaten any good contender in this era. The guy got destroyed the first time he stepped up in this era and he's a media creation with gullible fans.

Good that we've most likely seen the end of Wilder because he would need to bring a gun into the ring to beat Fury. And I don't see him becoming a champion again because he would've to go through good contenders to get there - unlike the paper belt he got the first time & he carefully defended it fighting bums. I'd pick all the good contenders to knock him out.

Going forward, fans are going to start giving this era of heavyweight boxers the credit they deserve.
Maybe, just maybe, it has as much to do with a certain British heavyweight who you pronounced as the second coming of Lennox Lewis getting beat up by a lardo and slapped around by a cruiser weight.

People **** on the era because a lack of techniques displayed.

You can tell me you think Tyson's great or Joshua's great, all you want. They do less than guys who came before them.

Try listing Joe Walcott's bag of tricks next to any active HW's. Go for it.

Ali? Tyson's like Ali? If Ali dropped half his ****.

Joshua's so good at combinations, Mike Tyson was a hypejob, and that's why Mike went undisputed utilizing what? More combinations with a greater variety of punches.

But it's Wilder who drug the division down. He's sold on his punching in retreat abilities. Not power

If anything, Wilder brought KOs to a division that was fat, sucks at boxing anyway, and proved a failed basketball player with a decent right hand is skill enough to displace the advanced skills that saw dudes like Stiverne and Martin grab belts.

Tyson Fury actually sucks at boxing.

Anthony Joshua does not stack up against the past's combinations

Deontay Wilder really is one of the hardest hitters of all time.

Being good at what your sold on helps sell the sport. Being sold on being good at something that was on display a generation or two ago at a higher level just makes you a disappointment.

If Anthony was half as good as Mike he'd've beat the **** out of the fat can Andy and taken the US by storm with his amazing combo KOs. Being that he's **** and sold like he's a half decent mike tyson when Americans watched that fool they laughed at him. Not even ****ing close. You can cry resume, fixed fights, don't mean ****. Most Mike Tyson fans don't give a ****, don't know we talk ****** **** like resume, and just got very impressed by clips Joshua seems incapable of recreating let alone besting....which is why Mike is still watched more by a lot.

Search Mike Tyson KOs and Anythony Joshua KOs on YT then set sort to views

        Mike
        105 mil views
        AJ
        19 mil views

Maybe AJ would catch Mike if his clips were worth a ****. Unfortunately they're not and the market reacts accordingly. You can't use words to explain away reactions to actions. Folks ain't impressed because they have already seen more impressive.
