What do you guys think of Adrian Granados?

I’m from the Chicago area, and the local boxer who I’ve followed, is Adrián Granados.

Man, what a fighter, but it’s a damn shame. I think he’s better than his record reflects. He’s all heart. I don’t think he has the skills of an elite boxer or the athleticism, but he’s made up for it with his heart. He fights all out and he never backs down from anyone.

After his breakout win vs then undefeated Amir Imam, he gets to fight 5 former champions, Broner, Porter, Fortuna, Garcia, and Easter. While he got stopped vs Garcia, he gave Broner all he can handle and easily could’ve won that match. He clearly lost vs Porter, but wasn’t outclassed and remained competitive. He was just coming on vs Fortuna before Fortuna fell out of the ring, and he fought an all out action brawl with Easter and turned out a good performance, but came up short.

Do you guys think Granados can further his career at this point at all? What do you guys think is the next best step for him? He’s going to be 31 this year. I feel so bad for this man. He’s had a hard luck career it seems. I’ve had the opportunity to meet him on a few occasions he’s a stand up guy. He wears his heart on his sleeve and you can feel the frustration in his voice when he speaks on his shortcomings in close fights.

Never in a bad fight and has a good action style. Basically what you want from a journeyman.

Granados is a good dude , I always liked his style of fighting he puts his heart in all his fights but winds up getting the short end of the stick sometimes ..I watched all his fights wen he fought at the UIC pavillion one of my favorite fights from him was wen he fought jimmy the truth herrera , I'm real close friends with jimmy I thought that fight was a draw but granados got the nod on that one..

Granados is a quality fighter and he's definitely better than his record suggests, all his losses are against top contenders/elite fighters and he's tested all of them bar Danny. The sport needs fighters like Granados, all heart and grit

Better than his record. Robbed vs Broner. Had a few other calls not go his way, too. Good fighter, crowd pleasing style, a step up for up and coming boxers. Not sure he'll be more than that at this point in his career though, tbh
