It hasn't been a year yet moron. How many does flu kill in 6 weeks moron. When it's been here a year, you can compare the annual statistics, idiot.Comment

Coronavirus has been around since November. It's been six months, not six weeks. Tally that up, it's still half as lethal.Comment

Cmon angeljuice, be an idiot a bit more. I love destroying your facile arguments. I'm a frontline worker and I'm living with two doctors in the house who were the ones to tell me about the new mortality rate of 0.06%. Tell me how they were so wrong? You wanna look like an idiot for a bit longer or you wanna fess up and admit that you're wrong?Comment

Em, if someone had pneumonia, it'd be classified the other way around as pneumonia is not a disease, that's a symptom. You got it all wrong and the fact you think this fear is necessary for a disease that is half as lethal as the seasonal flu is a joke. Get some bloody perspective man. We don't even know for sure if he had covid, could be a case that he didn't even test positive but they just lumped him in the stats anyway because it was written on the death certificate.
I got it wrong? Nah, you need to have the appropriate level of fear for this virus. You rather that LIS, than act like this is something and then it be spread to the vulnerable.
Now it is HALF as lethal as the seasonal flu? Interesting.Comment

Got what wrong? You're telling Covid19 can't lead to pneumonia? I'm saying how many cases are there that people died with pneumonia that had Covid19 but it isn't being reported that way.

Also yes it turns out from antibody testing it really is only half as lethal (well, 60%, but Imma round it out). 0.06% to 0.1% morality rate and we **** bricks over this thing. Flu kills more people across the board too, affects all age groups to a similar degree, although they both negatively affect the elderly and immunocompromised.
My point is that these are vulnerable anyway, we never should go to these lengths to protect them when we already take the appropriate measures with other diseases when they go around. It's kinda common sense you don't go see your sick granny if you have the flu, same approach should've been taken with this. Not a government mandated shutdown that has now taught them that they can use this kind of manufactured crisis to exercise control over us to a degree they didn't even know was possible before.Last edited by BoloShot; 04-20-2020, 07:03 PM.Comment
