Prime Aaron Pryor v s Prime Julio Cesar Chavez who you got?

If the HAWK went up against Mexico’s best boxer of all time who would win?

Now remember before the drugs Aaron was a baddd man and was basically ducked by Sugar Ray Leonard!

JCC we already know. Not the best with slick boxers and always was a slow starter and good finisher.

Loaded gloves theory aside. Neutral fighting place. Let’s say. Detroit or Washington DC

Both in their undefeated primes at lightweight.

    Who you got???

I think if the hawk can start off early it’s not going 12 rounds. Two murders in the ring. Pre 6 rounds the hawk. Past 6 then Chavez by ko via body shot.

We can delete this trend. It’s been created on fantasy fights. My fault.

That is a BLANTANT myth! The fact is Pryor has turned down one offer from Duran, and one from Leonard, but signed to fight Leonard on the second offer in 1982:

Between 1980-1981: Pryor was offered over $500,000 to fight Roberto Duran but turned it down because his new attorney told him not to sign anything until he worked out a new contract with LaRosa. By the time they worked out a new agreement, the chance to fight Duran was gone.

1982: Pryor signed to face Sugar Ray Leonard for the undisputed welterweight championship in the fall of 1982. His purse was going to be $750,000. Pryor had previously been offered $500,000 to fight Leonard, but he turned it down. Before fighting Pryor, Leonard first had to defend his title against Roger Stafford in Buffalo, New York on May 14, 1982. Pryor was on his way to Buffalo to taunt Leonard (business is business even between close friends)and help hype the fight when he heard on his car radio that Leonard had suffered a detached retina. "I pulled off to the side of the road and I cried," Pryor said. Leonard retired six months later.

Such a shame that fight never materialised but in turn we would not have got Pryor-Arguello that year if ever, so swings and roundabouts...

Why do you feel the need to bring color into the debate ?

Ok the fight still never happened but thank you for arguing a mute point.

It wasn't a "MOOT" point, you stated a blatant inaccuracy and I corrected you on it. And it wasn't even an argument, not even close; it was me schooling you. You're welcome.
