    • If the third fight is to be staged in Vegas, it's a waste of time anyway. Golovkin won't win a decision there unless he brings a baseball bat.

Actually no. He didn't win an alphabet belt against a shot fighter at super middle or light heavy and then leave the division for reasons unexplained. That's why that didn't come to mind. Golovkin was a Middleweight like Hagler, Monzon, etc. Maybe Hagler should have fought Matthew Saad Muhammad after his 3rd knock out loss is that what you mean?

how does a baseball bat win a decision, out of interest?

          • When a trainer says something like that, it is never a good sign. He probably feels that ggg is not ready, not in shape or maybe he feels that ggg's body is breaking down. A lot of true boxing fans know that ggg is getting stretched in the 3rd fight if it happens. Canelo has more skills/defence and has a good chin himself plus canelo has fought bigger guys. GGG is also going to have to give in to canelo's demands like weight/rehydration clauses and finance matters. GGG has all of the deck stacked against him, and his age is catching up fast. He is looking for a quick paycheck before retiring, and canelo knows it and wants to end the trilogy in style by KO'ing ggg bad.

This is a lame excuse one minute he is the biggest puncher in the diviison and not claiming wont get a points win. His hyped punching power should have ko Canelo he had two chances lucky to get another

How can Canelo possibly put in a rehydration clause against Golovkin when they are essentially the same size and Canelo has already fought bigger men. To top it off Golovkin is much older in boxing years. Canelo is a cherry picker but he's not ****** enough to make himself the butt of endless jokes.

                  • this is why i complained when ggg hired banks, that dude is dumb and worthless.

his fighters don't respect him. they like him. big diffrence. it was the case with klitschko and is the case with ggg imo

let's hope ggg tells him to shut up and fights canelo in september

GGG is taller and bigger than him first of all. Secondly, they put a rehydration clause on jacobs at 160 ibs after going up to 168 ibs. Do not be surprised if he pulls this off again.
