He's one of my favourite fighters.I like his stance on always trying to improve himself using his Christian belief.Same goes for Tyson Fury and other boxers who have this stance.
Hence a true warrior/fighter/boxer is someone for me who trys to improve themselves spiritually and physically.Last edited by Richard; 04-21-2020, 04:12 AM.Comment

Best thing a boxer can do to promote himself, is to align with nobody 'Become a universal fighter'.
I don't really see Tyson Fury has a die hard British fighter 'British fans who now suddenly support him are hypocrites, for 80% of his career Tyson Fury was mocked, and people had nothing good to say about his heritage' This is probably why he is not bothered about fighting in America, they have embraced him more.
Anthony Joshua seems to have more of a British fan base, and for whatever reason they like him in Dubai 'And of course in Africa'.
But in general I estimate that 80% of boxing fans are glory hunters, therefore fighters should not care so much about the fans. The test of a fan-base is how well they deal with THEIR fighter losing. David Price from my perception at his peak was more popular than Tony Bellew, but soon as he lost? He was mocked and ridiculed, PEOPLE wanted to dissociate with him etc
Fighters such as Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali maybe even Ricky Hatton had extremely loyal and robust fan bases. Their supporters where there no matter what, until those fighters had no more to give. Roy Jones Junior also had a very loyal fan-base, but not quite on the level of the prior fighters I have just mentioned 'Roy Jones Junior was more Universal than Ricky Hatton'.Comment
