He would of demolished Wilder. Wilders side never even wanted that fight, certainly want it in Russia. They cut and ran as soon as they could, they never got as far as Russia.

Povetkin never got banned. He even got money back from court. Yet somehow he wasn't reinstated as mando and the fight never got rescheduled. Something about that whole episode stunk. Very fishy.

Wilder would need a KO to get a win in Russia, and I don’t see him stopping Pedvetkin.

Wilder would've been starched. Povetkin would be all wrong for him.

Man I was so looking forward to that fight...was going to be Wilder's time to prove what he was...hate that it was delayed...but we got that type of fight for Wilder vs Ortiz and he performed then...it was also a great fight.

Facing Povetkin in Russia when he still had something in the tank, man would have been a big night.

Let me just say Pedvetkin was to blame for the whole thing, but I sense a relief from Team Wilder when PED was busted for PED. They stalled on that fight as much as they could. From Wilder being injured to him taking voluntary fights to test his injuries out, others tried to rewrite history that it was Pedvetkin that wanted to delay his own mandatory, but that was never the case, he didn’t want to be waiting around for his shot, so he took fights on to be active whilst Wilder test his injuries/surgeries out.

I've never been a big fan of Povetkin, and obviously I like Wilder quite a bit still so my answer's kind of obvious.

I don't see the big deal with the guy. He avoids elims, challengers heading up the ranks, unbeaten fighters, championship matches, and loves holding letter belts while fighting the real champion's leftovers.

Stylistically I can appreciate Pov. Look at my avatar, obviously undersized swarming types are just fine by me. I just don't think he's very good at it. Like a stagnant, slow footed, small, Tua or some such.

That said, if Wilder gets his ass handed to him by a small slow HW then I'll give Pov the nod too. Until then, Wilder KO's Pov's ass all day long. Povetkin waits...enough said, he's a swarmer who waits to swarm in pockets because he can't handle constant pressure. He's always needed constant pressure to have a chance at a real title and he's never had the tank for it so instead he waits or fights slow ass mother ****ers that make him look good.

I reckon the following top ten beat Pov:

Fury, Joshua, Wilder, Usyk, Ortiz, Ruiz, Parker, and I'm going with Whyte on their upcoming match.

Povetkin would have beaten the one trick pony. Wilder would have started crumbling mentally as soon as he got off the airplane.

We've never seen Wilder in with a good short guy but it's safe to say if he misses with that first right hand Povetkin's inside letting hooks go. Probably look similar to the Price v Povetkin fight stylistically.

If Povetkin was 6-foot-6, I would pick him to win.

                    He isn’t and that matters.

I think Wilder would lose every round before catching him and winning by knockout.

Wilder most likely would have took his head off. But it would be good while it last
