Incredibly sad. In an odd way, his death hits home a little more than anticipated. I had only seen him as the third man in the ring (and had an overall favorable opinion of him as a ref). I have probably seen him officiate fights hundreds of times and it's the finality that I won't see him ref another because of this disease is what hits home. RIP Eddie.
