I think Bo could have done it. If he could hit home runs and score touchdowns in the pros, then he surely had the physical skills to punch a guy in the head. One year of hardcore training and Bo would have been ready for the fight. Win? Who knows. But with Emanuel Steward and hard work and constant boxing training and good incremental sparring upgrading. I think Bo had a shot. I really do. Tyson could not hit a ball out of the infield and he couldn't gain five yards playing running back for the Giants.

Reminds me a little of Jim Brown and Ali.
I heard Bo wasn't a big weightifter. No use for PEDs if that's the case.

Absolute freak of a specimen. Possibly the greatest athlete I’ve ever seen. Just a natural at everything. Of course, that doesn’t automatically translate into fighting ability; but if Bo had trained as a boxer from a young age, I wouldn’t put it past him to be heavyweight champion of the world.

Same was true of Herschel Walker, another amazing specimen. These guys are the rarest of athletes. Gifted beyond belief.

Do you think Fury can hit homeruns or take a screen pass 45 yards to pay dirt? I really don't.

You would easily win any argument stating Jackson was the better athlete. A boxing match isn't about only athletic ability though.

Michael Jordan thought he could play baseball. Roy Jones and Manny thought they could play basketball. It is harder to change sports than they think.
