Spence is right, Gamboa did hurt Crawford and Crawford did get dropped in his last fight. That said, Spence could not K.O Garcia who is smaller, but, Garcia did shell up and did not open up. First things first, Spence is going to need a tune up to see where he is mentally and to see how that hurt shoulder is doing. If he goes in straight into a Crawford fight, I would favor Crawford, just because we don't know how Spence is going to recover, but if Spence gets a tune up and looks like him old self, then Spence is the favorite just because Spence has fought better competition and Crawford has fought absolutely no one on Spence level, Spence would be Crawford best opponent to date and Crawford is 32. So we will see what happens.

Spence chose to outbox Mikey because Mikey was dismissive of Errol's boxing ability leading up to the fight. Garcia incorrectly assumed that he would have opportunities to counter because Spence would simply try to bulldoze him. Mikey has even admitted that Errol had an answer for everything he tried to do.

In other words, Mikey went in as a "matador" thinking he could outbox a one-dimensional "bull" but instead he got outboxed by a better "matador".
