The diva said he was ready for a third fight after their Sept. 2018 fight, then came up with all kinds of excuses not to fight Golovkin "I don't like him", He needs a belt" etc.
What a difference 2 years makes!

GGG definitely wasn't ready considering he spent the next 9 months in hiding recovering from his injuries and when he finally reemerged it was against a cherrypick because he was looking for a new identity with his new trainer after getting the Mexican beaten out of him.

We wouldn't even be talking about a third fight if it weren't for Canelo giving into his inflated financial demands to convince him to get back in the ring for the rematch, and I wouldn't be surprised if a major reason this fight is being contested at 160 is due to GGG's reluctance to move up a single division throughout his career even for legacy fights, because he'd rather boast about it than be about it. As for GGG's whiny fans, they don't expect or demand GGG rematch opponents, period, when he's the A side, but somehow complain that he isn't being babied enough as the B side when he's receiving rematch offers.

For the record, Canelo said he had nothing to prove after beating him at his own game, but added he'd do it again if DAZN opened up their wallets.

That's old bruh. Nobody believes Saunders troubles Canelo. BJS is hype

that guy is full-of-shlt... but I do agree that Saunders is going to give Canelo some grief

believe it... he will definitely " trouble " Canelo... at least early

if no fight until September... Canelo will select Golovkin because of the HUGE bonus that DAZN offered him... it is obviously a bigger fight

Saunders will still be there, and he is just one of 4x current SMW champs... Canelo would be ****** not to take the money

Three paragraphs of absolute cack. Golovkin BEAT Canelo in the first fight - everybody knows it. The second fight should've been scored a draw but if you were to award it to anybody you'd have to give to Golovkin by virtue of being the consistently busy fighter. Canelo nut huggers like yourself only give Canelo credit because he fought different in the second fight. Canelo was HURT twice... dont forget that... in two separate rounds. We all know Golovkin can only win by knocking ginger boy out. He will never get a decision. The whole trilogy will be looked on as a joke by true boxing fans who wittiness what really went down.

Why? So we can watch a 3rd fight given to Canelo?
