LDBC Slayer years ago said stiverne was a former lineal champion, meaning that before vitali was. before anyone says wlad and fury were please explain how vitali was not then. someone explain also how vitali was lineal. fill me in

Vitali held the ring belt I believe but he never had lineal status . He was close to getting it with lennox and most people considered him the best heavyweight in the world bar none once lewis retired .
