Wilder isn’t worth 20M with 20M in his pocket. He’ll end up pulling out of the fight or get killed in the ring. No one is paying him any money.

Uhhh, wasn't Eddie who brought up Wilder taking step aside money in the first place? Now all of a sudden it would be embarrassing? Boy oh boy. The things this guy says sometimes. But if Wilder did step aside, he better bleed Hearn to the point Hearn would need a blood transfusion afterwards. I would advise Wilder to ask for 15 million and not a dime less.

I'm very interested to see how wilder speaks, whether he is on the bandwagon about Fury's gloves, or whether he'll say he was whipped because Fury is more skilled and was better that night. If he admits that, i'll be worried. Because that will means he's taken steps to correct all his flaws. If he comes with the glove gate & other excuses, i'll know how the rematch will likely play out. I'm also interested to see if he's more humble, or if he's still arrogant and saying all he needs to land is one punch and if he's still gonna be loud and obnoxious and yelling BOMMMBBB SQUUAAAAAD

The quarantine has taken care of that. The fight has been pushed back until October.

Taking the step aside money would be much better for wilders career.

He could take a recovery fight against a complete bum. People wouldn't complain that much. He could score a big KO & the casual audience would act like he's never lost again.

He could possibly earn a career-high payday fighting the winner of fury-joshua.

Between the three paydays he would be in a very good position with an open future.

Or he can take one check for a third fight with Fury, almost surely lose, and call it a career because what exactly do you do after losing 3x to the same guy and there's no division you can move up or down into?

Claim you came into the fight with broken legs & were attacked by your own halloween outfit again? That would be the end of the road.

There's no shame in taking free money or losing to the #1 guy. The only thing shameful is not giving credit to the better man and making excuses

What a dumb comment to make from Hearn.. why not talk him into taking the step aside money rather then making it seem ****** or embarrassing to do so? Doesnt sound like Hearn is running towards a Unification.. more like "damn I hope I can get a few more wins and dollars out of AJ before Fury runs through him..."

                      Attack

Wilder should just attack and overwhelm Fury and stop being a ***** cat. Andy Ruiz did that to Joshua, too bad he partied his rematch though.
