So far who has accomplished more: Lomachenko or Ward?

He needs to do something....that Pac fight would be huge and if Loma wins he should get his props. You actually make pretty good points here.
Ward was the underdog against Kessler... Many thought Ward would get KO'D by Kovalev or flat lose in the first fight, myself included considering the long layoff and new weight class
In order for Loma to match the Kovalev wins, he should face Pacquiao at 140
Kinda like Pac when he moved up and fought ODH.
I will admit, there are less opportunities for Loma around his weight class, but that is on him to step his game up.Comment

ward refused to join the super six unless every fight was a home fight so how is that not rolling out hte red carper for ward? froch had to fight in 4 different countries.ward had everything his way as well and he took advantage of it with illegal tactics. how many legit fights did he win with boxing and not wrestling which is illegal btw.i can send you the rules if neededWell, Ward came in to most of his biggest fights as the underdog, despite his Olympic pedigree.
By contrast, Loma had the red carpet rolled out for him by ESPN and was declared an ATG by the so called experts (many of whom.work for ESPN) before he even had 10 fights.
Ward was never supposed to last 12 rounds with Kessler, where as Loma has been considered the clear favorite in just about every fight.
Ward was supposed to fold the first time he tasted power from.a true light heavy like Sergey Kovalev, where as Loma was given every excuse in the book for getting beat up by a lesser fighter in Solido.
Sure, Loma may have a few more plaques and awards to hang up in his garage, but I believe Ward beat the better opponents, in bigger, tougher fights, and did it all with the media short changing him the whole time (kinda like Trump), where as Loma has basically had the media working for him, trumpetting how great he is every time he spars a few rounds at the gym.Last edited by daggum; 04-14-2020, 06:59 PM.Comment

ward was a favorite in every single fight cept kessler. why are you making things up?Well, Ward came in to most of his biggest fights as the underdog, despite his Olympic pedigree.

lol.................I think lomachenko has the better wins. A lot of people hyping up froch win were calling him a caveman before that fight and ward sc****d past him by a round and from what I saw froch had figured him out in 2nd half of fight. He also lost to Kovalev and may have won the 2nd fight but ultimately he cheated to get the win. Whereas lomachenko has been winning these fights in style, making world class fighters look like bums. I just don't see ward on the same skill level as lomachenko I just don't, I think he retired early cause he knew he lucked out against Kovalev and it was a matter of time before that 0 was gonna go. I think if u put ward in any other country and he wasn't allowed to wrestle, elbow, headbutt and low blow you're looking at someone around fringe world level in most weight classes, I didn't see anything that special apart from the ability to make a fight unwatchableComment

Not even an argument now. 14-2, losses against a Journeyman and a green fighter. Loma isn't in the same league.I think lomachenko has the better wins.
