Could you imagine this guy slow footing it around the ring trying to land one big shot at a time. He wouldn’t make it past the first fight. He couldn’t go hard for 3-4 rounds

Canelo would probably have to sign a waiver not to hit these novices hard. The best counter puncher in boxing somehow can’t catch an amateurs assault? That’s funny. What novice isn’t going to get rattled... It is a fact that amateurs never get stopped or ever hit the canvas! Power and ring IQ doesn’t exist in amateur bouts

Most Mexican fighters don’t do olympics... they fight for money... not for accolades

          You're a casual. You've never hit a gym!
GGG has been there and done that... silver medalist mate. He has reached the pinnacle in the amateurs and the pros, unlike Alvarez who most viewed him losing to Golovkin twice.

Yeah and Ward substituted to be a LHW, and created the moniker of “Lil’G.” Ward “did that done that.” But we admire his professional achievements not his amateur pedigree.

If you know anything about Ward's amateur career you'll know he campaigned at the LHW limit of 175 lbs. Golovkin at the time of their talked about fight was a small middleweight at best so even to fight Ward at 168 would've been disadvantaged after Ward rehydrated on fight night. Even in talks to fight Carl Froch a catchweight of 164 lbs was proposed by Golovkin's team but Froch was unwilling to drop the 4 lbs.

Also we all saw that first Kovalev vs Ward fight and although Ward rallied late he clearly lost that fight just like how Lara and Golovkin clearly beat Canelo.

There’s plenty of amateur boxers that can knock people out. You think Floyd, Loma, ggg had no ring IQ as amateurs. The gloves you wear as an amateur aren’t designed for a knockout but doesn’t mean it can’t happen. Amateur boxing is more of a points game who can throw more and land more much higher pace than a pro fight.

lol. Jesus you GGG diehards never give up with lies. “Small Middleweight.” My god... I don’t think you even listened to what I said, I said Ward SUBSTITUTED his position in the Olympics to fight at LHW. If you ever saw the Super Six, that thin version of Ward was NEVER as big as Kovalev, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev.

Log off with the alt bruh.

You’re not understanding any of my points. You should read more of my posts in the thread. Everything you’re saying I already said and added more depth as to why P4P elites wouldn’t waste their time at the Olympics. Guys like Crawford or Canelo wouldn’t hold back hurting any Olympic contender. You guys are confused yourself. The Olympics are open to all. It means you could, in theory, get a Crawford vs Spence as well. See how redundant that is? Or is this a fictional world to say that new talent out of nowhere are going to beat P4P elites? The Pros would come with bad intentions against the novice and Theres no rule for “please sir limit your punching power and ring experience because we funna wanna give these novices a chance!”

Well if your fighting in the olympics your not a novice. Your either A class or open class, and if any pro wanted to compete there they wouldn’t have to hold back. It’d be totally different fighting as an amateur the gloves are made completely different. I’ve fought both so I know.
