The main reason I’ve never given into conspiracy theories is the fact that it’s very difficult to keep a secret between two people, let alone groups of people. What you’re suggesting is a conspiracy on a global level, involving government officials from opposing political inclinations, the worldwide media, virtually the entire medical establishment, etc. Just not happening.

Chloroquine is already used as an antiviral medication for malaria, it's already been proven to be safe for use you moron. Right...so thousands of TV reporters, newspaper writers, magazine writers, TV talk show hosts, bloggers and medical experts are all part of this grand conspiracy. Were you aware that 92 people in Seoul who recovered from the virus recently tested positive again. We don't even truly know if you gain immunity once symptoms die down or whether it lies dormant. Can you claim to know the full genome on Covid19? Do you know the comprehensive list of enzymes it interacts with? You're no covid expert, jog on you muppet!

Caution =/= panic. You can use fear to motivate caution, but if you ratchet it up into a panic, the situation only worsens. Do you think all that panic buying helped? People rushing to cram into shops and grabbing everything in sight? Do you know how many transmissions took place because of that? People who aren't sick going to hospitals for a checkup where other actually covid positive patients are because they panicked? We couldn't even quantify it accurately. Don't be such a moron.
Let's not forget all the people with chronic or serious illnesses that aren't covid related that are now going to die as a result of emptying too many hospitals due to a panic caused by inflated predictions of serious cases. None of this will help anyone.

There is definitely some sort of disease /plague out there, the media calling it covid 19, and ramping up the fear factor to new heights, it could be anything really, but we still have to be safe just in case it's as bad as the media saying. I think Crawford got a point tho, I think the numbers of deaths ect are being played around with and if it was as deadly like say ebola is why is anyone still at work / out and about ect, it just don't make sense and it don't add up to what the media is saying, it's like one rule for one and another for someone else. So this seems like a exercise in control, and they have brought in new powers for the police to use too, will these powers stop when the pandemic stops? I think 100% this is now starting to look like a smoke screen for something else, maybe a power grab or to kick start a new world order, yes there is a disease out there but it could be to get something else through, so bud Crawford got a point, he ain't daft. Don't get me wrong I'm not one to usually defend the media but I do think in this instance they've done a useful job in bringing to the attention of the public a new and deadly disease which literally came out of nowhere. The damage as you put it is more a reflection on society in my opinion and how people behave in present times.

Well, yeah, 90% of humanity has mushy heads and will lose their minds over nothing, but this reaction is entirely understandable and predictable given the media's 24/7 panic barrage. All news is COVID-19 news. Even when you are exhausted hearing about it, there it is in a giant red banner on the edges of your screen. Bogus infection death rate, phony death counts, all day long. People who I used to think were rational, intelligent people are losing their **** thinking that a dark wind is going to float by them and melt their organs right there in the street.

The rational among us see this for what it is and we are perplexed by the rest of this planet. But nothing can be done. People cannot be reasoned with. We just have to observe and record this event for posterity.

I don't believe in massive coordinated government conspiracies; primarily because they give the federal governments too much credit. People who believe that the government is capable of half the **** they imagine have been watching too many movies.
