I'm not talking about the seasonal flu. I'm talking about the abnormal flu outbreaks. They tend to ravage us. Flu is a very dangerous and infectious disease. It's also typically dangerous to similar groups that coronavirus primarily affects. Point is, don't go thinking coronavirus is some super deadly pandemic, it's no Ebola, that is by far the scariest disease in human existence. If it's ever weaponised and aerosolised the world would end.
Coronavirus is more like nature finding another way to manage our population, like malaria has always done. Once we get a vaccine it'll be regarded similarly to the flu.

Of course, SARS and MERS had much higher mortality rates as well. But those viruses weren't as transmissible as the coronavirus. No one is saying once we get a vaccine then the coronavirus won't be much to be afraid of.......Just that there is no vaccine currently available. If you don't take the proper precautions, then the coronavirus WILL be a deadly pandemic. So while SARA and MERS and Ebola etc have much higher mortality rates, the coronavirus can spread easier and lead to far more deaths than the seasonal flu. And I know you aren't disagreeing about the seasonal flu, it's just a big talking amount among the Covid19 truthers and they point to the yearly deaths of the seasonal flu and compare it to the coronavirus.

I got coronavirus because of my work, if I were unlucky I could've died, all the workers are putting that on the line, every one of us is saving lives. That's why it ****ing matters for me to be there and it's a sacrifice worth mentioning. I'm putting my life on the line too, so **** you. Also I know about SARS because it's relevant to understanding how coronavirus can behave so variably depending on the strain and to use past experiences of it to inform us of how to deal with it now.
How could anyone sane have an issue with that? Compared to most of you here, I am an expert on covid. I'm the one working to fix this so I have to. Delete yourself. Or go get covid too and tell me how fun that is not knowing if you're gonna be in the ICU, dead or just fine.

Also you might be a "frontline worker" but I've got to have a giant lol at you claiming to be a covid expert. It is a new type of Coronavirus which most true experts are still unsure on . Were you aware that 92 people in Seoul who recovered from the virus recently tested positive again. We don't even truly know if you gain immunity once symptoms die down or whether it lies dormant. Can you claim to know the full genome on Covid19? Do you know the comprehensive list of enzymes it interacts with? You're no covid expert, jog on you muppet!

How any rational person could fail to see the damage that the world media has caused with this worldwide panic is incredible to me. This would be a non-event without the media.

Don't get me wrong I'm not one to usually defend the media but I do think in this instance they've done a useful job in bringing to the attention of the public a new and deadly disease which literally came out of nowhere. The damage as you put it is more a reflection on society in my opinion and how people behave in present times.

Well, as far as I'm concerned as a frontline worker. What I've been hearing is that the covid designated hospitals are half empty and have been the whole time. People with serious symptoms are a lot less common than we think. 80% essentially walk away with nothing to remember covid by. It is absolutely being used to cause panic and exercise control over people using fear. I've never seen the police handed so much authoritarian power in Western nations.
It's still a killer for those who aren't well equipped to handle it so take care fellas.

Right...so thousands of TV reporters, newspaper writers, magazine writers, TV talk show hosts, bloggers and medical experts are all part of this grand conspiracy.
