Good that he someone behind him can talk sense into him before his mouth destroy him. He's got talent though.

He is probably 3/4 fights away. He is throwing his big boy ego now, you can see the confidence in him and his team.

            I totally agree
His ego is getting the better of him at the moment but his team knows
Although I do think the kid has a point , he will be much for either to handle , Stank or Haney

Of course he needs at least 3 fights. He's not ready! Hopefully ODLH understands this too! He's only 21! Linares is good! Jo Jo Diaz or Tevin Farmer would be good! Even Richard Commey would be good for Kingry! Berchelt @ 135 would be an excellent Christmas present for the sport! Haney, Tank, and Loma, shouldn't even be on his radar until 2021!

True, but great fighters need to believe in themselves, so this is a great team, I think. There is a ton of pressure to move Garcia into elite fights, but Oscar really has to listen to the Reynoso's advice. If managed properly, Garcia will have real success and be a dominant champion one day. If they rush him, though, he could end up being the next Fernando Vargas instead of the next ODLH.

I can see the same scenario playing out. Hope he proves to be the goods. Linares is a huge step up!

time will tell how things play out, but as far as actual boxing goes, I don't think he comes close to measuring up to a young Oscar or vargas. I think he's more show than actual substance. With him being in the same weight class as Loma, Davis, Lopez, haney, I see Garcia as the least regarded among them, and with Davis, Lopez and haney all being young as well, Garcia can't age them out like vargas should've done with a Trinidad.
