I actually picked him to beat Tarver. He was 5/1 by Decision as well.

I picked Tarver, I thought no way hopkins is too small.

But i do remember during the ring entrance second guessing that a bit when I saw either the weigh in or fight night and noticed hopkins looked like a legit light heavyweight and really filled out his frame in a natural looking way

I just had a feeling Hopkins would outlast him and get a decision like Glen Johnson managed to do. Tarver was too left hand happy IMO and Hopkins is one of those guys who you just can’t blast out of there.

I didn’t think it would be anywhere near as wide as it was though, I thought B-Hop would have to weather the storm early on and then start to pick Tarver off once he had gassed. My main concern was the size tbf, Tarver was a big LHW.

I didn't read all that...but at 147, right now, I would be just interested enough to watch it.

That's only because Spence is coming off that bad wreck though and no one really knows what he has left...it is kind of a safe tune up fight for him, and a good time for Loma to take a fight like that if he was ever going to.

I am still surprised that Spence went 0-2 in stopping Mikey and Porter, I would have thought he would have been 2-0 in those fights...but Loma is not a big guy...Spence is 2 to 3 weight classes bigger naturally.

I don't have much interest in it and definitely wouldn't have if Spence was healthy...if Loma looked as dominant at 135 as he did at 130 I would be open to it...but to think he can go up to 147 and beat a top guy there, when he has looked more human at 135, I mean idk what the appeal is.

I'd rather see them attempt to clear out their respected divisions than jumping up or down a number of divisions to make a pointless fight.
