Some fights we see just seem so much more violent than others. The punches seem to be thrown with much more bad of intentions and the damage they inflict
can be seen, heard and even felt. Castillo/Corrales was definitely one of those fights. Chico won the fight but I believe that battle took more out of him than it did Castillo. Respect to both warriors.

Go ask Vazquez right now if he regrets anything. He's blind in one eye and is a shell of his former self. There is no self-pity in fighters.

I'll always maintain that Chico displayed some very cowardly behavior when he spit his mouthpiece out. I believe if you look at film he got over 60 seconds to recover. Wasn't handled well.

He tried it again a couple of fights later at the referee wouldn't let it hapen.

I get what you mean and I see it that way sometimes, but then at other times I kinda see it like someone just working within the confines of the rules for the edge. Kind of like fouling Shaq in basketball is a type of work on the system. So, as usual, I have no definit opinion and am stuck in the middle

The point should have been taken immediately and hurried to get the mouth piece back in. If it happens once during a knockdown a point is taken, the second time? DQ immediately.

                Greatest fight I've ever seen.

Much more skilled battle to me than the slugfests that were Gatti/Ward
