Comments Thread For: Arum: Pulev Is Hell Of A Lot Better, Stronger Fighter Than Andy Ruiz

Bob Arum's familiarity with Andy Ruiz Jr. is one of the primary reasons he is so confident Kubrat Pulev will knock out Anthony Joshua. As much as Arum would want to be part of a lucrative Joshua-Tyson Fury heavyweight extravaganza, the 88-year-old promoter is convinced Pulev will prevent it from remaining possible even before Fury faces Deontay Wilder a third time. England's Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) is tentatively scheduled to make a mandatory defense of his IBF championship against Bulgaria's Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs) on June 20 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

You've got to hand it to this guy, he really bigs his man up.

I just don't see it Bob, Joshua isn't going to get caught napping so soon after the Ruiz fight and that's the only way I see Pulev winning is by some fluke.

Arum at 88 is soo jealous he dogs an old client on world wide media. That shows what TR is all about. Themselves. Can't belive how butthurt that promoter gets. If he is going to take things that personal he should take care of his fighters and look out for their best interest. As the fighters are trusting him too. Unfortunately matchroom is picking up on these selfish manuvers. Just ask the most recent champ to get thouroughly robbed "Daniel Roman"!

Every promoter is self centered and up their own ass. That's their job. Danny Roman wasn't robbed either, he was outboxed and he robbed TJ Doheny before that (even had a clear legit KD ruled out) so that's a dumb point. His fault he takes about 5 punches to land three body shots.

Pulev is obviously better than Ruiz but styles make fight. If Joshua was able to overcome Povetkin, he will defeat Pulev.
Kubrat Pulev is an animal when he is fighting in Bulgaria but fighting Joshua away from his home l won't be a threat.

How does that have anything to do with anything?
You must not be very confident in your sexuality to feel the need to make irrelevant, ****phobic comments. I'm not gay but I couldn't care less about what gays do in their own homes. **** whoever you want to ****. It makes no difference to me.
