I don't know about this to be honest. See Lennox's rematch with McCall, where he was cautious until it became clear that Oliver didn't want ti be there. Note his reaction whenever McCall looks to throw the right hand. He was more assured and aggressive against Rahman but he was more experienced by then.

Well only one mentally broken now is wilder
Everyone cares about the knockout or lack of agression by Joshua. Joshua didn't make it look easy. Joshua is mentally broken. He has no confidence and should not have taken the rematch so soon. All the experts said it was a mistake and the fight proves it. A performance like that against an even more bloated Ruiz deserves no praise. Many heayweights would have looked better against Ruiz that night.

What happened in their 1st fight has happened many many times in this sport. Joshua hurt his man and in a rush to look great he threw caution to the wind and went to end it and got caught with a good shot that rattled his brain.

It's Boxing and especially at Heavyweight every body where everybody hits hard enough.

WTF? He did make it look easy he de-moralised Ruiz by snapping his head back all night and didn't get in any trouble doing it. Notice at the end Ruiz wasn't gassed maybe the extra lbs slowed him but it didn't wear him out.

There was only two points where AJ looked a bit panicked but the rest of the fight he was on cruise control pumping the jab, man he even mixed it up a few times with some big shots but you could see him make a mental note to not get carried away and get the job done, looked calculated not unconfident. It was probably his most confident since Takam he was switched on and knew what he was doing in the ring from round one.

He could recreate that perfomance 9 times out of 10 because even if Ruiz loses weight he aint getting taller and his feet weren't faster in the first fight. AJ delivered himself on a plate in the first fight he didn't tie Ruiz up in a clinch or back off and Ruiz caught him with a skillful punch that decided the fight so it was likely a fluke.
