It was one of my favourite performances from an all time great fighter. Joe was heavy underdog, not given a chance and he won every round. Also funny how I'm so racist but then called a Joshua fan boy. Fact is you've got serious racial issues my friend.... Its all you think about you can't even just enjoy the thread and talk about boxing.

Why on earth did I forget Tarver vs Jones I remembered, I hated Tarver so much, when he knocked out Jones, it was heart breaking.

How could the best win of the last 25 years not have occurred in the biggest fight of the last 25 years between the 2 best of the era when they were ranked #1 and #2 p4p?

Come on guys let’s not let hate get in the way of common sense.

let's not get things twisted here, you're the proven racist and we both know what the real motivation for you thinking that Calzaghe beating Lacy was the best win of the last 25 years.

            Best wins since 1995:

            Holyfield vs Tyson I
            Hopkins vs Trinidad
            Tarver vs Jones II
            Floyd vs Pacquiao
            Ward vs Kovalev II

Make no mistake, I put Floyd vs Pac on the list. This fight was far less 'boring' than people make it out to be, and there were times in that fight that Manny let his hands go when he could, so I think that shoulder was bothering him a lot less than he was leading on.
It was a dominant performance by Floyd in the most heavily hyped fight in the last 25 years, the only people that have a problem with this fight are Floyd haters that are butthurt.

Runners up for best fights of last 25 years:

            Hopkins vs Pavlik
            Ward vs Kovalev I
            Floyd vs Hatton
            Ward vs Froch
            Brewster vs Klitschko

That was a hugely hyped fight that shocked a lot of people when Calzaghe won as dominantly as he did. It's worth a mention.

The things you mentioned aren't the motivation for that poster (Madison Boxing) making it his #1 win of the last 25 years.

If anyone's win over Pacquiao is the best of the past 25 years, it's undoubtedly Marquez knocking him out. There's just not really any debate about that.

that's a great story but the odds were nearly dead even. nice revisionist history but simply not true. found this on another forum leading up to the fight.
