flaws that you outgrew as a boxing fan

I used to pick my guy against everyone until he would retire.

I would rely on Boxrec too heavily and act like I had seen fights that I hadn’t.

Assuming a guy has far weaker punch resistance than he actually has based off one KO or stoppage.

Believing there was an even playing field as long as they made weight.

I would care about particular fighters. Once you've been watching the sport long enough you see that they all come and go, and you become more of a fan of boxing.

The fact that no one is touching this tells me a lot of folks haven’t outgrown much of anything, ha

I let ****** biased fanboy opinions bother me too much when I know they'll never change their attitudes. That goes for any set of fanboys, hate them all pretty much. Thing is I used to do that ****, now I'm more objective about how human and flawed most boxers are.

Supporting boxers based on race, ethnicity, nationality, etc. When you grow older you realise that boxing is a great sport and follow the best/most interesting boxers.
