Greatest fighters to never win a Title

Lets get old school here or not. Mine are Jerry Quarry and Jesus Pimental. New school are Harold Brazier, Lamar Parks(hon men), Angel Manfredy. With so many titles nowadays if your great you'll usually win one. Any thoughts.

Charley Burley and Herol Graham are the best boxers never to win a world title.

        Ones that come to mind....

        Sam Langford
        George Godfrey
        Harry Wills
        Jerry Quarry....agreed
        Zack Padilla...jr welter
Bert Cooper....if he could have remained focused and off the "stuff", he had the talent, IMO....Cruiserweight more than Heavy.
        Charley Burley...duh.
        Bennie Briscoe

....that's all I can think of for now.

I forgot all about Burley and Langford of course. For some reason I thought Bomber Graham picked one up. OBA Carr is truly the best recent fighter to not win one. He came along at the wrong time, I mean Quartey, Trinidad and De La Hoya. I bet he wishes he was born about ten years later.

Sam Langford and Charles Burley. Lamford beat a lot of alltime greats and Burley never received a title shot.

I also think Jeremy Williams could have dominated the Crusier weights earlier in his career. Very talented with no chin. Would have loved to see Zach Padilla take on Chavez around 94. It would have been a shootout.

Not really the greatest, but Mickey Ward was loved and very fun to watch. An he never won a world title.

I wish Ward could have won one. He was probably one of the biggest overacheivers of the past ten years.
